Industry expert Claus Priebe joins the management of Broadnet Deutschland GmbH

Claus Priebe will join the management board of Broadnet Deutschland GmbH on March 15. Previously, he held a senior position at 1&1 Versatel, where he was responsible for nationwide collaboration with project partners, system houses, and integrators. With his extensive experience and strong network in the German telecommunications market, he will actively drive the further development of the COMPART IT-Group's new service structure.

"In Claus Priebe, we have gained an expert who is highly regarded in the market for data networking solutions. His experience will be instrumental in further expanding the COMPART IT-Group's service structure," says Broadnet and Compart CEO Dirk Hartmann.

Broadnet operates over 250 radio hubs nationwide, connected via a redundant MPLS backbone. This infrastructure is complemented by eleven service locations and more than 50 certified wireless engineers. The goal is to provide high-performance, fail-safe network solutions, particularly to companies with high requirements for availability and security, including critical infrastructure (KRITIS) organizations.

"A failure of ERP or logistics systems can have significant economic consequences for companies. With our redundant connections and SD-WAN-controlled multi-transmission networks, we are creating additional resilience here," adds Hartmann.

Claus Priebe will focus in particular on expanding the existing partner network and attracting new target groups to the COMPART IT-Group's IT infrastructure portfolio, with a focus on DATA NETWORKING. "In addition to microwave technology, we are very well positioned in this absolute growth market with our ECO modular system for 5G campus networks. I see great development potential, especially in the partner environment, in a market that will grow significantly over the next 10 years!" says Claus Priebe, looking forward to his new responsibilities.
